Here's the text of the first response to our announcement:
Hi Dana
Your dissociation study group sounds quite interesting, and is very needed!
As there seem to be relatively few of us so consciously working with
dissociation, I hope you will not mind my forwarding announcement re: my group,
now forming, for adult female trauma survivors.
I have worked at Center for Treatment of Post Traumatic Disorders at PIW for
five years and decided to do this group in part as there are so few
psychodynamic resources for this population, particularly in Virginia. The
group will take place Tuesday evenings, beginning in September, at my office in
Falls Church. Perhaps you know individuals who could benefit and are able to
make it to Northern Virginia (it's really not far, especially in the evening).
