[ddots-l] usb soundblaster 24-bit external soundcard

I have a two-year-old laptop with USB 1.0
The computer store at which I like to shop has a USB soundblaster 24-bit
external soundcard for $50.00
I am new to sonar and sound stuff, so I'm trying to find inexpensive ways to
get my feet wet. My laptop doesn't need a line in so I need a usb card.
This is the cheapest I've found at $50, so wondered if anyone has had
experience with this card.
I do have a desktop with usb 2.0, and I'm told this card is usb 2.0, but is
obviously backward compatible.
