Hi Charles,

I can answer one of your questions, regarding Superior 2.0 the scripts will be ready shortly as they are being worked on at this very moment.

I'm fortunate enough to be one of the few people who has been allowed to look at them. The access to Superior 2.0 is going to be excellent.

The GPO 4 does sound amazing and there are people on this list that do use it, however, the guys that use it, are brilliant at navigating software so not sure how accessible it really is?

I personally don't think my Computer system is big enough to handle it and Father Christmas forgets where I live, cry cry...

Hello all:
I am new to this list. I have been working with Sonar and CakeTalking only since May of this year, so forgive me if what I am asking has already been asked several times. Is the Garritan Personal Orchestra accesible on its own? How about the Superior 2.0? If not, are there scripts for these plug-ins?
If there are, where can I get them?

Are the instruments from Native Instruments such as Kontakt and Reaktor accessible at all?

Now one question on Sonar:
A few days ago I was working on a project with about 40 tracks, half of them audio, and half softsynths. As I was editing one track, I mistakingly pressed shift-s instead of control-s. All of my tracks disappeared except for the one I was working with. I looked in the Sonar shortcut documentation and I found out that shift-s is the short cut for "show selection." So I guess that since I have probably selected part of the track I was working with, Sonar removed all of the other tracks from the track view. I thought I had lost everything, but when I unsoloed the only remaining track, I was able to listen to the whole project. I was not able to find a way to bring all of my tracks back. I ended up closing Sonar and opening it again. I lost a couple of edits but I had all my tracks back. Does anybody know how to revert from the "show selection" shortcut? I would like to know this just in case I make the same mistake again.

Hi Neville,

Go to Synth Rack press P then F4, arrow until you hear, "Global Reverb Effect controls" if you enter here, you should be able to turn the reverb off.

Thanks for the infow. Can you tell me how I can turn the reverb off and on? I noticed that some of the samples have reverb and some don't. I looked in the synth rack to see if I could find it in asign controls, but I couldn't
find it. I see what you mean the samples sound great!

Well, in that situation I would add a bit around 5000hz or so.

I am just singing with them its just voice and strings an intro to a CD I'm
working on. So you think that in this case flat would be the way to go?
When
I listened to them they didn't sound bad to me but then I thought that
there
must be something I could do to give them a little shine.

Well, that is very subjective and depends on the kind of material you are working with and how predominant they will be in the mix. I usually boost
around 6khz about 5 or 6db to get that sparkle if I want that up front
70's
disco string section sound. If you are just doing pads, they probably
will
be ok flat. That being said, I don't use the dimension strings much since

I

have gpo 4 which is the bomb as they say.
