Hi Charles,

After you've pressed shift F4, before doing anything else tab through to
destination track as sometimes that doesn't seem to move to the correct track.
You can arrow down or up to the correct track and all should be fine.

Subject: [ddots-l] question on step record

  Hi:
I am having a problem using the step record. I have about five instances of
Dimension Pro. I just recorded a couple of measures using the step record
function on one of those instances. Now, I want to use the step record
function on another track which is also another instance of Dimension Pro but
my edits are being recorded to the previous track in which I worked before.
Any idea of what's going on?
  Thanks
