[ddots-l] problem monitoring

Hellow my good people!
I am but a novis with sonar, did you sey "the novis is in trouble", that is
right. I am having a problem monitoring back with the head phones. The deal
is, whin I arm a track and choos its out put and solect the phones I hear
nothing. I have a motu 828 mk ii interface. I have checked the settings with
it and every thing seems to bee okay. I can hear back through the controll
room speekers but not the head phones. The only way I can hear back through
the head phones is to tirn input monitoring echo on. Whin I do this the delay
is un barible, You can not play because of the lagg in time. Can some one help
me pleas, pritty pritty pleas? Thanks a lot
