suspect you may be better running several instances of the softsynthe in
question. That would give you more control over panning etc.

How would that work with what I'm trying to do? I have one drum note playing
on one midi track, and another drum note playing on another midi track. That's
why I want one track panned to the right and one panned to the left. If I have
two audio tracks and one midi track, how would I accomplish what I'm trying to
do?

You want 2 audio tracks and 1 midi track. You do this by adding an audio
track and then routing its input to the input of the desired soft synth. Then
you set both of them as mono tracks and you can also set the input of the first
one to left mono and the second to right mono. This is how I do it.

    Hello,

I have two midi tracks assigned to the same soft synth in sonar. When I try
panning one track to the left and one to the right, they both pan to the right.
I have them set to different midi channels.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks.
