Paul, can you use the hot spot clicker for the Ivory in Sonar 5? I have both and can't make that work.

Thanks Gordon, your solution to get Ivory rocking just works. And I even have hotspot clicker in place now. A utility to click certain locations on the screen, even though jaws can't seem to find any text or graphic there. It works awesome. I can now fine tune my piano, in that I can turn the reverb on and off, increase or decrease the hammer noise etc. Ivory is just wonderful.

Paul.

Paul:
You do need to load a piano into it. You should see the word "default twice on one line of the ivory property screen. Move your jaws cursor to the one on the left. Now here is the quirky part. You have to actually use a mouse to click on it, you can't use the jaws left click button for some reason. When you do click on it, it will open up a list box of a whole bunch of presets you can pick from. Press enter on one and it will load.

Hi Gord,

I just purchased the Synthogy Ivory piano. I installed it, but I'm facing two problems.

1. Most importantly: I can't get it to work. I inserted it into sonar. I've done this often with steinberg hypersonic and tts-1, so I know how it must be done. I have a midi channel in place, bank 0, the first available patch in there, the output is set to the ivory, the audio track's input comes from ivory, but no sound at all. What am I overlooking or doing wrong? Should I load a piano to start with?

2. I can't understand the ivory property page. It does say ivory 1.50, and clean sound board. Appart from that I see a whole lot of graphics and numbers, but nothing makes sense. Can you please explain how I can get this beautiful instrument to start sounding over here? Which parts are accessible for us, and which ones are not?

Paul.
