If you are only doing 1 track and the system is giving you problems, from my
experience with working with and building daws, it sounds like your problem
is with the computer. It can be a hardware issue (incompatible chipset,
resource issue), or if your system was bought off the shelf, it could be a
load of unnecessary and useless software that are making your system halt to
a crawl.
It could be an interface issue, but that's unlikely, though not impossible.

Hey sounds like you are getting drop outs or something. That vary same thing
is happening to me too. But I am able to here it again after hitting record.
I think we need to freeze our tracks. Trying to figure out how to freeze
only one track aswell.
