Unless there's another way, the plug-in manager allows you to change options
if it's a vst, and you can anable the plug-in as a soft synth.

Subject: [ddots-l] how to set up auto tunes to listen to midi.
Hello, all, the subject kind of says it all. I'm wanting to correct my
vocals using midi notes. Can some one tell me how to set this up. I have
turned on "target notes via midi" in auto tunes but can't figger out how to
send the midi information to auto tunes. It's not showing up as a option in
my track out puts.
any ideas?
