I did this in a very simple way and this may or may not be what your looking
for.

1: select all tracks you wish to audiosnap.

2: do a jaws key pass through followed by the Sonar keystroke, Alt enter.

3: tab over to the "enable audiosnap" checkbox and check it with the
spacebar.

4: tab over to the "folow project tempo" box and check it.

hello,

Could you please give me some exact instruction on how I can use the audio
snap function with caketalking? I have tried to follow the help files but
haven't really got far.

Thanks

Hmm, wonder if you could do this with audiosnap? I recently recorded a
backing track of the Sister Sisters Take Your Mama Out. I later decided
that the tempo wasn't fast enough. So, I checked the follow project tempo
box in audiosnap the bass, because that was all that I had tracked. Then,
sped the tempo of the entire project up by 5BPM. It worked like a charm.

Subject: [ddots-l] extracting tempo of a song

hello,

I am doing a level music technology and I am expected to sequence an exact
copy of the song "superfreak by Rick james". However, the song changes tempo
so rapidly and the changes are really suttle to notice. Does anyone know of
a way in which I can automaticly create a tempo map on which I can sequence
for it to be exact.

Please could someone reply as soon as possible as this is timed coursework
which needs to be completed.

Thank you

Chamandeep Singh Grover
