Yes you should reduce the volume on the reverb buss going to the master. You
could also use the mix function in the sonidus or cakewalk reverbs. The
waves arts reverb is also very good.

Subject: [ddots-l] REVerb in Sonar Producer 7

hi

Hopefully this won't annoy anyone. As I'm fairly new to Sonar 7 producer I'm
still finding my way. I also know that what I Ask is down to personal
preference.

I'm looking for a reverb which gives a male voice just a little echo in a
country & western song. Just a quiet but strong voice with a hint of echo.

I see cakewalk have an fX Reverb which gives many options, none of which
really suit as they're too strong in reverb. Are there any rules as to using
the adjustments?

Secondly there's another reverb under sonaris (I think that's the name). IT
seems to have less options to play with when making adjustments.

Are there any other reverbs included in the program or which any of you
would recommend from 3rd party suppliers?

Two further sub questions about my dilemma:

1. For a light echo if I'm using the send function to a reverb bus should I
increase the send volume and/or reduce the main volume going to the master?
Are there rules about this?

2. When leaving the reverb window I have to use alt and F4 to get rid of it
to see my busses. Is there a way of closing this window?

Thanks for any help.
