Hi Phil,
Thanks for sharing the links. Your Vox toy does sound great and it is an option
for me. I downloaded the Line 6 remote app for their Fire Hawk system and not a
single thing was announced with voice over. What a shame. I can't imagine it
would be that difficult to have that corrected. Perhaps no one has asked, so I
will make an attempt to reach out to them. I believe that Line 6 has more of
the modern sounding amps and FX choices and that is what I am hoping to find.
So, were any scripts needed to make the Vox editors to work with JAWS or did
they work right out of the box?
Thanks,
Grant

Phil and all, the focusrite clarrett line (as of now) are all thunderbolt based
interfaces, not USB. They will only work on win 8.1 and above. USB models might
come out later, much like focusrite did with the safire line, but last i
checked the clarett lineup were all thunderbolt. And they weren't thunderbolt
III compatible, focusrite is preparing and testing updated drivers to work with
tb3.
But for now, many manufacturers are sticking to, andrecommending thunderbolt 1
or 2.

yep, and the way a real tube is used to emulate power amp sections in the
various amps being modelled is unique. It certainly imparts a nice "feel" to
things when you're plugged in and playing.

however does the Clara, and or Liquid 56 still work with your HSC sets?
Many Thanks.

The Saffire range from Focusrite are good, but also check out the RME
stuff. It all depends on how many inputs and outputs you need, how much you
have to spend, etc.

Hi Guys,
Is the Sapphire Pro 40 the only accessible good audio interface? Let me
know as I am looking for an audio interface to work with samplitude on a
Win10 J18 DAW.
Thanks

Well still love my Vox TonelabSE. The Windows based PC editor for it is
fully accessible and in my view that thing creates some of the best tones
on
the planet!!

There are also more of us playing live on the repertoire page:
http://www.demuirs.com/repertoire.html
All of the electric guitars on those live links are all processed through
the Vox Tonelab SE and the ones on the backing tracks were recorded in Sonar
8.5.3. I then played live along to the backing tracks. The lead electric
guitar on the right is me playing live. My wife Sarah is playing acoustic
guitar and that one's towards the left of the mix. Sarah and I are singing
along to the backing tracks and we also recorded BV's on the backing tracks.
The drums are Superior Drummer 2 and all of the other guitars and bass are
real instruments played by me.
