Hi all,

This maybe an obvious question but, if you back up all of your projects, does
the computer take all the deleted audio files and save them to your back up
drive or does it know just to save the audio files necessary for your projects?

They are the graphics that appear in your project such as the envelopes, etc.
that we can't use with traditional access tools. I delete them all every few
weeks or so.

    Hi Phil,

I trust all's well with you.

I've got a question; Just what is this picture cash folder anyway? I've got
almost 2000 files in there; when I scrolled through it to see what sorts of
files I had, they were various extensions, but they were names of past projects
I had since moved to a storage drive. Many of them represented edits and
recordings of tracks and so forth. I didn't dare delete them because I didn't
know what I might do to mess up projects.

    Take care.

    Mike

Open up the picture Cash folder in Windows Explorer and press control A
to highlight everything then, Shift Delete to get rid of everything. Also,
James is correct. You should periodically use the clean audio folder to clean
out deleted audio that you have used in projects.
