Hi Lori,

Sonar is like having a blank sheet of paper musically speaking.
Every style of music you can imagine will be being created by the users of this
forum.

example, this week, I've been recording sounds for a theme park Robot,
completed a track for Abba tributes and started looking at the music
arrangement of the film version of Elvis's "Love me Tender."
Next Week, totally different styles are in the pipeline.

  Subject: [ddots-l] Types of music

Hi everyone I just wondered out of interest what types of music people like
composing, and do people write it down in notes or just play it by ear? I'm
only just learning keyboard, and am playing with the idea of creating
sound-scapes for newage cds. I have some recordings of ocian sounds from when
I was on holiday in Florida and also others of birds singing and rain falling,
so thought about mixing them and then composing my own music track for over it.
What sorts of things do people like doing?
