Martin and Chris,

I had no idea there were still devices that use vacuum tubes. But of course
you can get a better class A linear amplifier with vacuum tubes than with
transistors, which are often set up as class C push-pull, with the usual
crossover problems.

Appreciate the education.

Dave

Hello Dave,

tubes I think You know in the context of guitar amps.
That little glassy things which make the typical grunge and distorted warm
sounds.

The "Vox Tonelab SE" is a digital multy fx guitar floorboard equipped with
real tubes to habe that nice sounds programmable.

Each parameter has got its own rotating knob or on/off switch and the few
menus You'll find do not scroll endless. So it is one of the most accessible
modern devices I ever used and I used a lot ;-)

So it is a perfect tool for professional guitar recordings.

Rotating Knob is what I called poty in my last mail.

Best! Martin
