On the local page (as you put it), there will be a setting called just
"local", or possibly "echo". Change that to off. That should get rid of
doubled notes.

On that same page, change clock to external instead of internal. If you
have it set to internal, then the keyboard will ignore any clock signal
that comes from Sonar.

I think that you have the sync options in Sonar right. However, on that
same page, there are a few list boxes that contain entries for each of
your MIDI ports. I think that, in the first list box, you need to enable
the ports that you want Sonar to use for transmitting clock. Make sure
the port with your PSR attached is checked.

hi all:if

i know i'ave sent this before but didn't get any replys, so please, try
to help as much as u can.

if u please,
in sonar, i got doubled sound when i need to record midi using my yamaha
psr a1000.
i know that u don't have this keyboard,
but someone here told me that i shall turn off the local controller, and
it well solve the issue, i went to the local controller page here, but i
found many things in this page.
Local controller, clock internal, etc.
what shall i do please?

also, the most importnat thing, is the sink issue.
i can't make sink,
i went in sonar. project options, then sink, then i checked the first 2
buttons, but my yamaha refuse to make the sink, i was having a roland
keyboard before silling it, and i can make the sink successfully.

this is too painful for me, that tel now can't use the yamaha styles.
and now, i have some work that i need the yamaha styles too much, to
finish my work,

any ideas please?

thanks
