Greetings Alexandru,
First, I understand that it is bizarre that changing the tempo is easier on a
MIDI track than on an audio track. If you want to change the speed of its
recording, you could try to change the length of the clip once you will have
select the passage of the track on which you would need the effect. On the
length dialogue, the percentage will mean the duration of the area that you
will have selected will cover the whole passage depending on the value. Hence,
a greater value than the normal duration means that it will slowdown.
Thank you for your comprehension.
Cordially,
Adel

Objet : [ddots-l] Changing the tempo / speed of an audio track
Hi all,
The CakeTalking tutorial says that it's not possible to change the tempo of
audio tracks, but of MIDI tracks only. However, in Brian Smart's presentation,
almost a decade ago, this thing was demonstrated. I thought I would be able to
find something related to this in the Process menu, but without success.
So, could anyone please tell me briefly, if possible, how to change the speed
of an audio track?
Thank you,
Alex
