    Jay:
You really need to use the fit to improvisation feature to do this. Now if
you upgrade to sonar 6, the audio snap feature is much better for this.

track in sonar 5?

      Hi all
As the subject says, I'm wondering if this is possible. I'm importing a
song in to sonar as a wav file and I'd like to record the bass line and other
parts of it in to midi so i can print it as a score. I was thinking if the
metronome can match the tempo of the audio, it would be a lot easier just to
lower the volume of the audio and play the midi parts right in.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
      Jay
