Hi Mike,
Nothing sinister here at all. Obviously this brand new
system of your requires to be updated via the normal Windows
Update process. If that does not pick up the dot net
Framework update, select the "Custom" method from the Update
Screen, and it will be sure to appear.
Don't be surprised to find a lot of updates are required.

Hey list!
I've been trying to install the SoundForge 8.0D update, but
each time I attempt to do this, I'm getting the following
message:
SoundForge requires microsoft.net framework service pack 1,
can it connect to the net etc..."
Can anyone explain if this is normal, or should I reinstall
the original Sound Forge 8.0?
Or, is there something more sinister happening?
My system is a brand new dual core 2.39 gHz, that's why I'm
having to reinstall Sound Forge...
