Hi John and the ddots' list,
I hope that you take care of yourself to be invincible from the CoronaVirus,
unless you have an invicibility star, like the Mushrom Land's plumber brothers
and their friends. the Mario Brothers.
Concerning your issue, may I know which version of SONAR and CakeTalk scripts
you use? i think that your problem relates to an outdated Windows' version, the
Windows XP. Is it because it is XP that your file is blank, unless you press
twice the numpad5 key twice? First, does your computer, in which SONAR is, have
a numpad keyboard? Otherwise, you should use an external keyboard to realise
some functions, oneo f which is nudging a selected clip in an audio track.
Oh yes. Somebody in the team wanted to relearn how to use SONAR using the key
strokes. So I asked him if he uses JAWS as he recently became completely blind.
Thank you.
Adel

Objet : [ddots-l] Sonar problem
Hi: I'm using Sonar with the latest caketalking scripts, and actually still
Windows XP. I've been using Sonar for years and never had this problem before.
I have a file containing both audio and midi. After my last save of it, in the
event view, everything is blank. The only way to read anything in that view is
to hit the numpad5 key twice and then move to the left and right of that row to
read everything else in that row. In fact, usually when you hit controll+I, you
can insert an event. That command, believe it or not, takes me into the
commands generated by the keystroke insert+Alt. So I can insert an event.
I know it's crazy, but any suggestions to fix this would be helpful. Obviously,
I can live with it, is just time consuming.
Thanks.
