Well, I use it for some things and if I really want great strings and have
the time to play the parts in one at a time I use Garritan personal orchestra,
but for that you need to use track templates since it uses the kontak player.

Are you still using that Gord, or are you on to something else?

It is a soft synth will a full compliment of orchestral sounds. The
sounds just show up in the regular track properties dialog, arranged into banks
like woodwinds, solo strings, string sections, etc. It's been around for a
while now, I don't even know if it is still available.

Gord is that a soft synth? How hard to use? Say hard as dimension or
easy as stineberg, or somewhere in between like trilogy?

Well, I wouldn't say that it is all about bells and chimes, but the
edirol orchestral has really good chimes and such in the keys/percussion bank.

Does anyone know of a synth that is all about bells or chimes?

            Thanks, Vicky
