Yes, you have to scan for plugins and you may have to do it differently than
you did in Sonar 5 by using the plugin manager or something.

Where is this synth?  I have sonar6producer, but session drummer2 is not a
option from the Insert|softsynth menu, nor is it a option in the effects
bins on midi or audio tracks.  I see the directory for session Drummer2 in
my CakeWalk\VST Plugins subdirectory, but it doesn't show up anywhere in
sonar.  Do I have to scan for VST plugins or something?
