[ddots-l] Session Drummer 3 and patterns

Hi: perhaps I'm not understanding this correctly. I'm using Sonar 8.5 with
caketalking. When I load a pattern from session drummer and record it by simply
pressing record, the notes aren't showing up in the event view. I assumed that
they would. When I simply record a track myself without the pattern, the midi
notes are there. Any help would be appreciated. The documentation suggests that
the patterns should show up in the event view.
