I'd be happy to do this in Sound Forge for you if you like.
There's probably an easy way in Sonar as well though.

I had a ton of old open reel tapes digitized by a company in Tennessee. They did a great job with a few exceptions. One of those includes a recording which, Iâm pretty sure was imported at half speed. Iâd like to import this into Sonar and, I guess, resample it such that the result will be essentially double the speed of the imported recording. Could anyone give me the steps to do this? Assume that we are beginning with a standard 16bit 44.1 .wav file.
