Hi Jay,
What is Transcribe, the software by Seventh String? Although I know the
GoodFeel suite (except for SharpEye), as well as SONAR and the CakeTalk
scripts, could you or somebody tell me if Seventh String's Transcribe plays the
same role than SONAR, for example? In other words, can we edit MIDI and AUDIO?
Is it a software appropriate for guitars for which a string may have been
broken?
Lime (from GoodFeel) allows you to inport a voice to a Midi sequence to then
import on a midi track on Sonar to make a perfect rhythm like on a traditional
synthesizer: arrange the automated chords like on a Yahama synth. Once, I tried
to arrange the rock beat of Yamaha's PSR3 and cover Gilbert Odsolven's "Alone
Again, Naturally" in G, knowing that the original song is in F sharp. The
Yamaha PSR-9 have two Beatles' songs programmed: "Yesterday" and "Hey Jude",
and Shocking Blues' "Venus" with a disco rhythm in A Minor or dorian (the
original is in E Minor and faster).
Like you say, Dancing Dots' software I usually use somehow changed my life, as
a good and still developing musician, mainly to compose or arrange music and
sometimes to learn some new classical piano pieces or my own compositions for
possible concerts. Thank you Bill and the Dancing Dots' team.
