[ddots-l] Odd files appearing all over my system?

Hey List!
All of a sudden, I'm getting the following files/applications appearing all
over my computer:
system folder
Recycler
System Volume Information
desktop.ini.
There are others, but I haven't compiled a complete list...
Also, in my documents and settings folder, on my C drive, a couple of new
folders have appeared:
network service &
local service.
Does anyone have a clue as to why this stuff has appeared?
