Good afternoon Crista,
I think you are somehow right concerning this word, metaphor. You mean that
disconnect from each other might keep you safe from that corona virus. To
return to any popular songs that use flanger or phasing effects, we may include
The Doobie Brother's "Listen to The Music" in E, John Lennon's "Starting Over"
in A (Beethoven's Seventh) with a bridge which modulates to G (Le cygne, by
Saint-Saens) before returning to A, and a passage of Ricki Martin's "La Vida
Loca" in C sharp minor, in which he sings, "Welcome to New York City". Although
I hate this effect, this sound may be a metaphor to cleaning an island full of
graffiti or an epidemic. Ipédime is the equivalent in French as I am mostly
francophone but studied some English as a second language to improve some
weaknesses.
I guess one should reduce Internet connectivity to avoid YouTubers who swear as
today is a vulgar world online. On ne dit pas de gros mots car on pourrait être
puni par Dieu.

This list is always entertaining, thank you!
I wonder if the missing word here is
Metaphor
We are all trying to shut down our external traffic. Shutting down Internet
access helps keep the computer safe, shutting down ourselves helps keep us
safe...
Off to listen to the Doobie brothers...

I honestly cannot form a coherent response to this post.
Have a wonderful day. LOL

Re-greetings to you, Chris,
Yesterday, I wanted to talk about a hypothetical way to avoid the
Corona Virus, against which the world is fighting: shutting down one's
computer whenever he does not need to use Internet for a reason. In
other words, reducing Internet's use and do things that do not need it
for a while each day.
As you are part of the community to help people with SONAR or to choose
the best audio interface (digital audio workstation), I would like to
compare this terrible obstacle course to a phasing or flanger effect in
a passage of a popular song, like the Doobie Brothers' "Listen to The
Music". I am thinking of that as this effect makes you pretend to be in
a tunnel: avoiding that beast.
I hope you'll understand.
Thank you.

Fighting Against The Corona Virus and Protecting Your PC
I'm not sure what you are talking about.
The link I provided is legitimate. If you want to help Stanford
University and others with research by donating some CPU cycles, go for
it.
If not, that's fine too. But, at least in that instance, it is not a
scam. They're not trying to secretly mine criptocurrencies with your
computer.

Greetings Chris and the community,
I guess you are mentioning that leaving one's computer on at any time
may be an impact for the virus? The coronavirus? In other words,
pirates may enter your database when you are away from it, keeping it
on. We all should stay alert and avoid that beast, believe me.
Thank you.
