Hi, Jeff, I'll let others answer your numbers 1, 2 and 4 but, in answer to 3: yes, alt text is generally a very helpful practice for any programmer to provide for us. Hello All: I'm working with a new soft synth called WusikStation. There's apparently about 2,000 plus sounds native to the instrument and a bunch of third party libraries. The author, William K is very excited about working with blind producers and has been providing excellent support. The problems thus far: When you load up the Wusikstation VST, you get the first 127 sounds/patches loaded into bank0 and some 20 or thirty loaded into bank1. The synth properties view is almost totally graphical in nature, although there appears to be *SOME* text information relating back to those first 127 patches. He's provided me with .fxb files which can be read by cakewalk supposedly. 1> Has anyone worked with this particular type of soft synth before?? 2> Would it be worth my time to bring sighted assistance into the studio to help label the graphics on the synth properties page?? 3> Would it be any help to caketalking if I can get him to put alternate graphics tags on the graphical controls?? and finally 4> Does anyone know how to get specific banks read in when loading up a VST soft synth. Thanks for any help anyone can provide Jeff
