I didn't have the latest update of CT8.8.51 and installed it. That
resolved the problem with jaws 16 losing focus.
So, Dani, I miss informed you. The latest version of CT8.8.51 does
indeed work with Jaws 16.

I have CT 8.8 and while jaws 16 does work with this CT version, jaws loses
focus after editing any edit fields. The solution is alt tabbing, which is
an inconvenience. I believe the what's new CT 8.8 document states that jaws
13 and 14 ar fully supported and resolve this issue.
So, I now use Jaws 14 with CT 8.8 and no longer have the losing focus
problem.

Hi, The latest verson of Sonar is Sonar 8.5, and the CT version I
think 8.8.
I can confirm this when I go in to my studio later this evening.
