Gord is right it depends on the soft synth you're using. When you insert a soft synth, you should look in the insert soft synth dialog that pops up after you choose the soft synth you want to insert. There are some check boxes that you need to look at. One of the check boxes says something like all sterio outputs. If you check that box when you press the okay button you should find all the audio tracks that the synth will allow. Acturally, I was wrong about it being too late to change things after recording. This is what you would have to do. Go to the desired track, then hold down the jaws key and hit the minus key. Jaws should say routed jaws kersor to far right. Then press the right mouse button which is the same as the slash on the number pad to the far right of your keyboard if you have a desktop. Now a menue should pop up and in there you should find an option to split your tracks. In fact that is what jaws will say after you press down arrow several times. May the peace of God which passes all understanding gard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. God bless you! GOrd ----- Original Message ----- From: Annabelle Susan Morison To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Thursday, January 14, 2010 2:05 AM Subject: [ddots-l] Freeze Track Versus Freeze Synth Hi, it's Annabelle. I know how to freeze a softsynth in Sonar, but I'm wondering, since I want to divide the softsynth into individual audio tracks, instead of having all the audio on one track, how would I do this? When I try to click on the "Freeze Track" option in the "Freeze Menu" of the "Tracks Menu", JAWS says that the "Freeze Track" option is "unavailable". In other words, the "Freeze Track" option is greyed out. How would I make this so the "Freeze Track" option is available? No virus found in this incoming message.
