It's generally a good practice to leave an empty measure at the start of any project to give hardware time to wake up and get working. Is it happening any time you start playing the project or just at beginning? The motif has a lot of processing to do when initializing with all the insert effects etc. If you turn off patch search and controller reset it will help, though I don't really like to do that because it does cause sustain to stick sometimes when you playback etc. Gord ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sheila Styron" <sheilastyron@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, October 28, 2009 10:14 AM Subject: [ddots-l] Re: First beat being trunkated in Sonar > Gord, it's the Motif with the m-lan interface. > > > Sheila Styron > 816-896-6552 > sheilastyron@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > > -----Original Message----- > From: ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > [mailto:ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] > On > Behalf Of Gordon Kent > Sent: Tuesday, October 27, 2009 11:42 PM > To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: [ddots-l] Re: First beat being trunkated in Sonar > > Are you using hardware or software synths?
