Phil or anyone: do you know if the Mackie Onyx model 820I can run connected to
a thunderbolt port? It is a firewire device.
We have a Mackie Onyx in the stock room that is in excellent shape but has
barely been used. Accepting best offers for that, for a Behringer BCF2000
control surface and for our dealer demo of a BrailleSense U2. All in excellent
condition.
If interested, write me off-list using my info@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx address or call
610-783-6692.
Thanks for any info you can share about that option to connect the Mackie Onyx
820i to a thunderbolt adapter..
Bill

Still using a Liquid 56 and Pro 24 from focusrite here on firewire on
WSindows 10. Also, if you have a thunderbolt connection and your FireWire
devices are thunderbolt compatible then you can still use FireWire devices.
This means that even if in the future I don't have a FireWire card then I
can still use my FireWire devices on a thunderbolt port.
