15. *** SESSION DRUMMER SOFT SYNTHE.
Session Drummer is a marvelous soft synth that allows you to load a large
variety of drum kits. Completely customize your drum kit by assigning
different drum samples to each part of the drum kit. Play and record the
drums from your MIDI keyboard. Load drum patterns of variable lengths,
both
grooves, and fills, and then play and record the patterns from your MIDI
keyboard.
16. SFZ SOFT SYNTHE.
SFZ is a sound font player. It provides endless sample-arranging
capabilities, outstanding sound quality, built-in effects, adjustable
CPU/quality settings to adjust it to your hardware, fully multi timbral
operation and several loading modes (including direct-from-disk streaming
for SoundFonts). SFZ reads the SFZ format sample definition files,
allowing
one to create complex performance arrangements in a text file.

The format of RXP REX virtual instrument files stipulates that audio
slices
play back individually, usually via MIDI. This allows arbitrary playback

process of convolution allows you to apply the acoustic characteristics of
any space (or sound) to any input signal. These acoustic characteristics
are captured within audio files called impulse responses which can
specifically represent the sound of a certain location, from a famous
cathedral to a locker room shower. Use SONAR's IRs to change the sound of
your project's performance location without moving an inch.
