Mary ellen:The audigy will not work. While they claim low latency and asio support, I know of noone who has actually gotten it to work with Sonar. Go to www.dancingdots.com and click on the Sound cards link for suggestions.

Will the Audigy cards work with Sonar? My techie and I tried unsuccessfully to get soundfrom my IBM laptop so we tried with my desktop and the Techie said that what I needed was an Audigy sound card as the one built in was very low end and would not do a good job with supporting Midis. So was wondering if this was a good card to have since I know nothing whatsoever about this sort of stuff.Mary Ellen Earls ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:ddots-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** ddots-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:ddots-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq]** or send a message, to ** ddots-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
