Guys, I have 12 custom built acoustical panels, 2 feet by 4 feet, wood frames,
acoustically transparent fabric, no famaldahide or other chemicals, no
fiberglass.
These work great in a recording space like a vocal booth, or in the mix/control
room for making the room acoustically even by absorbing sound waves and
preventing build up of problem frequencies, flutter and the typical suspect
that make a control room a bad one to work in.
These can be hung on the walls or hung from the ceiling.
I've had these in storage since we had to temporarily close the studio, and as
a result of this pandemic I'm looking to sell them to make space in the storage
room (to store other needed essentials) and get some cash; as you guys know
this pandemic is affecting all of us in one way or another.

in smaller sizes, say 2 feet by 2 feet, 1 by 2, 2 by 3 etc. I can reconfigure
the panels or build you new ones. Likewise, if you want them a certain depth
(right now they are 2-3 inches, and 2 are 5.5 inches depth), I can set you up
with just what you need.
If you want your studio's or business logo printed on the fabric, want words
written on there, no problem, since we also do graphics design we can take care
of that as well!
BTW, these are not only for the studio, you can put these in a living room
listening room, home theater, or anywhere you want acoustical treatment for a
better audio experience.
Note that these are good for absorption to about 150hz. As such, these are not
to be used as bass traps, since a different material is needed to be more
effective at the lower frequencies on the spectrum. They absorb frequencies
lower than 150hz, but they don't absorb enough to be considered a real bass
trap.
Finally if you purchase some or all of these, I will help you place these
properly in your recording or mix space at no extra cost. If you have a mix or
recording space, whether it's a bedroom or a large dedicated space, acoustical
treatment is a must! I'm not just writing that so you can purchase the panels
either, it is a known fact that an acoustically treated room or a properly
built room, along with proper speaker setup and placement (especially for
mixing), will help you generate much better mixes. In the booth, proper
acoustics can help you get a better sound into the microphone, eliminating the
chest voice as it is commonly called, or the boxy sound of a room or other
unwanted acoustical properties.
Another use for these is to make them into a box that you can place your cabs
in with a microphone, and can record the amp with a dry sound while preserving
the acoustics of the cab itself.
