Since you guys are probably eating cupcakes by now/soon, here’s some good news
to enjoy along with your Owen sugar rush!  From my sister regarding my dad’s
heart valve replacement procedure: “

He’s got his new valve and he did great!!!!  He’s just waking up now so the
procedure went like clockwork!!!  He will stay overnight...to monitor. And so
I’ll get him in the morning. I’ll know more once they get him situated in a
room. He has to be flat in post op for 5 hours. “
