FYI below about an opportunity to give feedback about the taxi reforms.

A Victorian Parliamentary Committee is reviewing the proposed taxi reforms.
They are looking for representatives of people with a disability for their
views on the taxi reforms.
The Economy and Infrastructure Committee is currently conducting an Inquiry
into the Commercial Passenger Vehicle Industry Bill 2017 .

There is no mention of disability, disability access or any compliance with
anti-discrimination law in this bill. They are saying that this will come later
but you have to ask if it does, will it be a poor cousin of the original act,
an afterthought?
Hearings are being held next Tuesday 23 May 2017 from 9am-5pm, and Wednesday 24
May 2017 evening from 6.30 - 9pm.
