Invitation to join the 2018 WACOSS Conference Committee
The WACOSS Conference 2018 will be held on 2-3 May 2018 with a Sector
Networking Day planned for the day prior, 1 May 2018.
The theme for the conference is Making Place.
Each year we seek skilled and innovative representatives from the community to
help plan and shape an effective and vibrant event.
We are looking for ideas and contributions towards:
a.. Key issues impacting the community and community services sector of WA
b.. Attracting relevant and high profile speakers
c.. Input to parallel events including the Community Service Excellence Awards
d.. Exhibition space and workshops
e.. Innovation in conference style, including design, structure and content
f.. Reviewing abstracts submitted by potential presenters (done outside of
our meetings).
The first meeting is expected to occur at 9:30am to 11:00am on Thursday 13th
December 2018. Subsequent meeting dates will be:
a.. February 1 2018
b.. March 8 2018
c.. April 12 2018
