Oh, RamKid, food for Ted's business (1st class!)
Premier Ted Baillieu is under attack over a catering contract for his office
worth almost a million dollars.
The meals are worth $900,000 over four years, averaging out to be $225,000 a
year or $1000 of food and drink for every working day.
The last Premier's office averaged just $130,000 a year.
Unions and opposition MPs are outraged that such an expense has been
approved when there have been massive cuts and job losses in the public
sector.
Shadow Attorney General Martin Pakula says: "I hope they invite some TAFE
kids in for a sandwich because it just shows the government priorities are
out of whack."
The contract tender, won by Nathan Bryce Caterers, called for:
