Dickinson Memorial Literary Competition – Exciting News It is with great
pleasure and excitement we can tell you that a very generous donor has
sponsored all the prize money for the 2017 Dickinson Memorial Literary
Competition.
This means that all six categories will carry a 1st prize of $350 and a 2nd
Prize of $150. We thank the Australian Communities Foundation - Clack Family
Memorial Fund for their generosity.
But wait – there’s more. The Braille House Board has greenlighted the
publication of the winners’ entries in an annual “Dickinson Memorial Literary
Competition” book. The book will be compiled by Braille House and will be
published in e-braille, embossed braille as well as electronic non braille.
The e-braille and embossed braille will be made available for borrowing through
our library and all Braille House members will receive either an e-braille or
non-braille copy as part of their membership each year.
Don’t forget that the competition closes 25 August 2017.
