Hello Estelle,
Depending on your circumstances this should certainly be highly possible; an OT should assist in writing a justification for the device or devices in question, including why they are reasonable and necessary, and what makes them value for money.

Hello Erika and everybody,
I am wondering, have anybody been approval from NDIS to get any equipment and devices for Assistance Technology?

I am having problem getting any devices over $500.00.

Many thanks,

Kind Regards,

Estelle.

Deafblind Australia NDIS Factsheet

Deafblind Australia is working on a factsheet or e-resource to help NDIA planners and staff understand more about disability types.

DBA's efforts to raise awareness has recognised deafblind people as the top 12 disability groups selected for the trial to provide information on deafblindess.

The fact sheet will be set for planners to read before they meet with participants who identify themselves as deafblind.
