Please be advised that customers will be unable to use the lifts at Dandenong
Station from Monday 17 July 2017 until Friday 15 September 2017 while Metro
Trains Melbourne completes lift upgrade works.
During this time, customers will be unable to use the lifts to access platforms
one and two at Dandenong Station. Platform three will be accessible from street
level without the need of lifts or stairs.
Customers travelling on Traralgon trains to Dandenong who need to use the lift
should travel to Clayton and then change to a Metro service towards Dandenong,
which will arrive at platform three at Dandenong Station.
Locomotive hauled trains from Bairnsdale will not stop at Clayton Station.
Customers who need to travel to Dandenong and use the lifts can get off the
train at Pakenham, where Metro staff will arrange an accessible taxi to
Dandenong Station.
V/Line trains towards Traralgon and Bairnsdale depart from platform three at
Dandenong Station and customers can access the platform as usual.
Customers travelling on Metro or V/Line trains to Dandenong and then connecting
with V/Line coaches towards Yarram, Cowes or Inverloch should allow extra time
for their train travel to ensure they arrive in time to catch the coach.
