A survey from Wayne Hawkins Disability Policy Advisor - Australian
Communications Consumer Action Network (ACCAN)
Consumers with Disability Education Tools Survey In December 2016, the ACCC
along with state and territory ACL Regulators released a suite of educational
materials that provided information and support to consumers with disability
when purchasing products and services. These materials were designed to empower
consumers to make informed purchasing decisions, and to use their rights
without hesitation if something they paid for is not right. The education
materials can be accessed here.
As part of this work, the Project Team will shortly be undertaking an
evaluation of the educational materials produced. The evaluation will assist
in determining whether the project achieved its aims (primarily to educate and
empower consumers with disability about their rights under the Australian
Consumer Law) and will also identify ‘learnings’ to increase the effectiveness
of similar future campaigns and projects.
To this end, the ACC is requesting your assistance to take part in a short
five-minute survey.
You can participate in the survey by clicking this

Thank you for participating in the evaluation, the survey is open until 19
April 2017.
