Organizers,

Please respond by Dec 31 if you can attend a DAY-O Organizer meeting on
January 6 at 7pm.  If not enough can attend, alternate dates or times will
be considered.  Location will be close to the base.

 

 

Interested members will want to attend.

 

In this meeting, preparations for decisions affecting DAY-O's future will be
on the agenda.

 

Once we have some proposals worked through, we can plan a vote.  At meetings
where we need to vote, we will invite the entire membership also.  The
probable option is to plan a vote at our next scheduled DAY-O meeting.  

 

Please let me know if mid-February looks feasible for the next DAY-O
Meeting. 

Possible dates:  FEB 10,  FEB 17

 

Agenda:

1)

Analyze information gathered for this decision:

Incorporation of Dayton Oracle Users Group (DAY-O)  VS Continue as a DMA
SIG.  

2)

Creating the Board of Directors, or additional election officials 

3)

Committee needed to work through items:

Plan a vote to institute policies

Develop financial policies including dues

Using our new website to implement policies

gathering applications for speakers

Policy for sponsorship

Estimate a Budget

Seeking volunteers
