As my eyes get older, and particularly if I'm working on multiple
documents at the same time in a reduced percentage the caret can at time
be difficult to see.
I have !Pointer 2.11 Acorn Computers 1993 (I suppose it came on one of
their CDs)
Makes the pointer bigger & you can have psychedelic colours & it can shrink
back to a sensible size after it's shown you where it is.
Not much help with the caret though but ISTR a Riscos app that makes the
pointer jump to the caret but can't remember what it was.
