The pessimist in me agrees this is just for show, but realistically they
didn't have to do anything publicly. They could have decided to stop and
not declared it and honestly few of us would have thought about it or even
expected them to do it. I think these kinds of stands say a lot about these
corporations that are coming forward with these statements, particularly
someone like Walmart who have a lot of Trump supporters who are customers
who could choose to boycott (or at least protest loudly) over this. I think
this is a clear message that there IS a line and THAT was way-over the line.
