There's a few problems with the lyrics idea. Mainly, there is no repeated
melody in the piece. It's mostly a back-to-back series of themes, to
demonstrate to other musicians that melodic 5/4 themes *are possible*. I
don't really know where the lyrics would go. But even then, I'm neither a
lyricist nor a singer. I hit a key on a synthesizer, the tone will be
controllable, and probably good. I sing a note, the tone will be
uncontrollable, and probably a blight on the piece it occurs in.
Nevertheless, future pieces may include vocals. I have acquired a (free)
A.I. plugin that is capable of generating pretty decently sung lyrics.
Here's an example that I threw together in *literally* ten minutes, just
screwing around with the product. It's not a good song, but thankfully
it's only a minute long. It's a really good demonstration of my A.I.
"singer". "She" is singing the words "I see clouds outside. I don't want
to go". That's the level of my lyric writing ability. It was also a
cloudy day and I needed something for "her" to sing, but what's amazing, to
me at least, is that "she" IS indeed singing the words I wrote to the
melody that I wrote, in a vaguely "European" accent, with maybe a slight
speech impediment.
Everything else was basically improvised and not edited very well. I was
screwing around with the product, not producing a real piece.

super rare). You will also find multiple videos from professional
musicians literally explaining why you can't write music in 5/4. They'll
tell you it's uneven, and therefore inherently unmusical. It will always
feel like it has an extra beat.
I disagree with them. I have around 100 song starts waiting to be worked
on that disagree as well. I spent all last year doing nothing but
five-count music. I'm *really* practiced up.
My music now is more an attempt to find "natural" melodies that break down
into fives instead of fours, against the common wisdom, and this piece is
an example of that. If you try to count it like you would a "normal"
piece, *one-two-three-four-one-two-three-four*, you'll rapidly find
yourself getting off-sequence. But at the same time, I don't think it
sounds like it has an extra beat, except maybe in the bass line right in
the very beginning; once the brass moves in, though, I don't think it's
noticeable any longer.
I don't know how many more I'll finish, but as I finish I'll be posting
them to that channel.
