DART will have a launch this Thursday, September 2, starting at 8 AM.
There weren't any weekend dates available in September for holding launches
at Fiesta Island. So we decided to do a "pre-Labor Day" launch on Thursday.
The weather forecast for Thursday morning looks good. Mostly sunny,
temperature in the 70's, and modest winds (5 MPH at 10 AM, 7 MPH at 11 AM).
We'll start the launch at 8 AM and go till noon or when rocket flyers are
done, whichever comes first. Flying early is recommended for best
conditions.
