DART has a launch scheduled for Sunday, November 20, 8 AM to noon. The
weather forecast for Sunday looks very good. Sunny, temperatures in the
60's and low 70's, and low winds (2 MPH at 8 AM, 6 MPH at noon).
We will have a launch procedure briefing at 8:05 AM for new fliers.
Remember that rocket flights must be lower than our altitude ceiling of
1,000 ft. Be sure to choose your recovery device (streamer or parachute)
size such that your rocket will recover within the boundary of the field.
This is especially important in breezy conditions. Most small sport models
should use streamers.
