bring Katrina Houghton from ID Profile to teach you how to use id profile and
the data that is available to support grant applications and business cases?
At this workshop you will learn –

portals?
* An overview of the economic impact reports?
* ID Profiles new covid impacts tool
* An overview of your local council area economic indicators
* And include an opportunity for questions and answers
Each session will be delivered in both live and remote (via Zoom) formats.

About .id
.id delivers online economic profiles to councils across Australia. These are
delivered in public websites, branded economy.id, for anyone to access. The
sites bring together economic data from multiple sources to tell the story of a
local economy and how it is changing. This information is designed to be used
by council staff, local businesses, investors, community groups, students and
the general public.
You can be confident about the quality of the information in the economic
profiles as it is derived from official sources, includes the most robust
economic modeling and is analysed and presented by experts. Each data source is
maintained with the latest series so you can be sure you are using the most up
to date information.
Get access to local economic data in its most compelling form including Gross
Regional Product, local jobs, local businesses, employment, unemployment,
population, building approvals, industry structure, journey to work and much
more.
About our presenter:
Katrina Houghton joined id in 2016 after almost 10 years working in Economic
Development and Community Engagement teams within Local Government. Bringing
that experience to .id, Katrina currently works with more than 100 local
government and regional development clients across Australia to help them build
their stories of economic place, and to bring an evidence base to their
decision making. With a passion for regional development Katrina prides
herself on bringing high level strategic information and training to even the
smallest of regional communities. Katrina holds an Economics Honors Degree and
Masters Degree in Social Science. She is a passionate advocate for Regional
Australia and you will often find her on the road helping to build the economic
story of all parts of Australia.
